Cabaret and Homegrown together was a local tradition that we’re bringing back!
Cabaret is Friday November 21st! It’s a showcase of all the non-dancing talent we dancers may have. It’s a night of entertainment, laughs, and community hijinks. This year we are partnering with the Blues scene at a great new venue. Included in your Cabaret ticket is a dance with one of the hottest swing musicians around – Gordon Webster!
In conjunction with Cabaret we are bringing back Homegrown!
Homegrown is an afternoon of workshops with local teachers. We are very lucky to have fabulous dancers and teachers in Toronto, and Toronto Lindy Hop is excited to have gathered them together for your learning pleasure. Along with local studio instructors we have Mandi Gould, Caitlin Wellman, Dan Amores, Alcina Chiu, and Stephanie Taylor teaching classes.
There are three levels of Lindy hop classes – including a Beginner class – so be sure to invite all your NDFs (non-dancing friends) and share this awesome dance with them!
We’ve also put together a special live band musicality class with local musicians. It’s not to be missed!
