On March 25th, 2011 Oliver Pigott (of Canadian Idol fame) will be a special guest at the Friday Blues dance. You want to go to this if you are into blues music and blues dancing. Invite your favorite dance partners and closest friends because this is going to be tight.
Oliver’s Bio:
After the passing of his father, a blues harmonica player, Oliver picked up the instrument while living in The Algarve, Portugal. At the age of twelve, he began performing in the country’s bars and clubs. Returning to Toronto, Canada, Oliver gathered a passionate legion of fans with his band “Laughing Sam’s Dice”, playing such legendary clubs as The El Mocambo and The Opera House…
Now a finalist on the most recent season of Canadian Idol (along with his brother Sebastian), a ubiquitous presence in clubs across the UK, Canada and the US, and co-writer of the hit song “Alien Like You” for the internationally successful CBC show “Being Erica”, the rest of the world is about to discover what his many admirers already know.
