Keep the party going with us on May 27th to 29th in Toronto. Toronto celebrates World Lindy Hop Day is an inexpensive weekend of dancing to live Big Bands, vintage & record shopping, partying and chilling with friends to carry you through from CSC to Stompology.
Cost:
$50 Cdn (plus a $2 Service Fee) gets you everything below. Individual dance nights and at the Door pricing will be $20 for Friday, $40 for Saturday and ONLY if space permits.

Friday Night:
We have partnered up with Lindy Hop Revolution to bring you the Vintage Spectacular Dance with the 17 piece Big Band-‘GTA Swing Band’ (at door pricing if avail $20). Location is at the Dovercourt House (805 Dovercourt Rd).
- 7:45 pm -Doors open
- 8:00 pm- Beginner Lesson
- 9:00 pm – Midnight – Big Band dance with the GTA Swing Band

Saturday (during the day):
Chose either a guided Vintage Crawl with Toronto’s Vintage fashionista, Liz, or curated tour of Toronto’s Record Shops to find some great vinyl tunes with Arthur and Chelsea.
Time: 1 pm til whenever we want to go home
Note: Both the Vintage Crawl and the Vinyl Hop start at 1 pm – so you’ll have to choose or text a friend to catch up with the group later. Sign up for one or the crawl on the WLHD registration page.
Vintage Clothing Crawl:
Kensington Market has several cool and funky vintage stores for all tastes, all on one street! We will meet up and then go vintage clothing shopping to several stores in that area and then depending on how the day goes we can stay in that area and browse around or split off to visit a possible other store we have in mind.
Jazz Music Vinyl Hop:
Come on a treasure hunt to find swing vinyl at some of Toronto’s best record shops. Come to browse or shop with friends as we tour a Toronto’s best record shops for vintage, swing era jazz records!
Saturday Evening at Dovercourt House (805 Dovercourt Rd)
The BIG PARTY of our party weekend – with 18 piece Big Band ‘Martin Loomer & the Orange Devils’, big silent auction and late night DJ’d funk/soul party! (at door pricing IF avail $40)
- 7 pm – Beginner Charleston Lesson
- 8 pm – Beginner Lindy Hop Lesson
- 9 pm – Silent Auction opens
- 9:15 pm – Big Band dance with Martin Loomer’s Orange Devils
- 11:30 pm – Silent Auction closes
- Midnight – 3 am – Funk and Soul Late Night with DJ

Sunday- Exploring Toronto’s Jazz Era music in a modern day setting.
6 am – Noon – Antiquing in St. Lawrence Market*
1 pm – Hangover Brunch** at Marches Brookfield Place. (Marches is like a giant buffet where you go to different stations and purchase what you want. Perfect for ANY diet).
3 pm – Toronto Jazz Pub Crawl
*Please don’t wake up to go at 6 am. It’ll still be there at 10 am. It’s ok.
**Price of Hangover Brunch not included, but you’ll be hungry after dancing all last night, so let’s all grab some bunch together!
