From March 14 – 16, 2014, two of the most sought after teaching couples in Balboa today will be in Toronto to teach at the 2nd Toronto Toss Out. They are Bobby White & Kate Hedin and Laura Keat & Jeremy Otth.
Winners of several American national competitions in both Lindy Hop and Balboa, Jeremy, Laura, Kate and Bobby also travel extensively, performing and teaching Balboa in North America, Europe and Asia. In doing so, they not only help preserve the traditions of the dance but act as leaders in its continued evolution.
The 2nd Toronto Toss Out brings these instructors to Toronto as part of a revival of Balboa in the city. Aside from the development of skills in Balboa, the event aspires to help cultivate a broader culture of learning and growth for local swing & Balboa dancers, teachers, musicians and organizers alike.
