Very very sad news coming from Lindy Hop Revolution Sept 21st. Toronto has lost it’s last fully dedicated Lindy Hop/Balboa dance studio and that is a terrible loss for our scene. Thank you to everything that LHR has brought to Toronto, we appreciated it all and you will be missed! Please make sure you send love their way right now

STATEMENT FROM LINDY HOP REVOLUTION
Hello friends,
We hope you are all doing well in these complicated days, staying healthy, and with your loved ones.
We have some news to share. After 6 months of trying and planning, and after many online classes and workshops, we have to admit the reality. It is time for us to close our doors.
Lindy Hop Revolution is not going to reopen. We have lost the studio space, our investment in it, and way too many dollars during the last months. We know that once it is safe to partner dance in person again, there will be lots of other chances to do so. The scene will rebuild!
We know this is sad news. You may feel betrayed, exhausted, and even upset. But we want you to focus on supporting the musicians we have in town. Support the venues that play jazz music. Support the Black community. All these things need your support, now, more than ever. We all want to have a strong, healthy scene again someday soon.
If you purchased online classes, you will still have access to those. Just as you will still have access to any of your class recap videos.
We want to end this dream that has been LHR by saying thank you. Thank you to our incredible team of teachers and collaborators. Thank you to all the musicians we had at our parties. Thank you to the international instructors who came to visit us.But, most of all, we want to thank YOU,our students, for being part of the revolution. Thanks for coming to classes and bringing your energy and your love for the dance. Without your support, we wouldn’t have had 7 wonderful years. Thank you again for everything friends. Hope to see you on a dance floor again one day soon.
