SATURDAY (Dec 29th): Regular Saturday Night Swing Dance ft Adam James Swing Quintet+ 2 Beginner Lessons (Dancers Guaranteed)
Location: Dovercourt House (805 Dovercourt Rd).
Time: Beginner dance classes 7pm to 9pm before the Dance Party. Charleston 7pm, Lindy Hop 8pm. Swing Dance Party 9:10pm to 1am.
Cost: Dance Party $15, $17 with one class, $20 with both. $5 off for full-time students.
ALSO on Saturday (Dec 29th): Viper Cloud at Drom Taberna
Location: Drom Taberna (458 Queen St. West)
Time: 10:00pm-1am

NEW YEARS EVE (DEC 31st): Swing Dance Ball ft Roberta Hunt & the Gents+ 1 Beginner Lesson & Treats. Dancing till 3am (Dancers Guaranteed)
Location: Dovercourt House (805 Dovercourt Rd).
Time: Beginner Lindy Hop Lesson at 8pm. Swing Dance Party 9:10pm to 3am.
Cost:
Party $30, $35 with the beginner class, $5 off for full-time students. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Saturday Night Swing, and at the door New Years Eve. (If you wish to buy tickets in advance but cannot come to Saturday Night Swing, contact Swing Toronto to find out how to pay online.)
SUNDAY: New Orleans Connection Allstars at Grossmans Tavern (Dancers normally attend this event)
Location: Grossmans tavern (379 Spadina Ave)
Time: 4:30pm-8pm
Cost: Free (tip the band)
Meet in the Middle is an annual Lindy Hop and Blues exchange hosted by the Queen’s Swing Dancing Club in Kingston, Ontario. Join us on January 25th and 26th for two nights of sizzling live bands (GORDON WEBSTER!) and DJ’d blues, plus a full day of professional workshops taught by QSDC alumni.
This year they are celebrating QSDC’s 20th Anniversary in proper birthday party fashion, so cake and pointy hats are guaranteed!
OKAY CONTEST TIME!
We have been given 2 Full Weekend passes to Meet in the Middle and we would like to give them to you! So here is what you have to do between Dec 24th & January 4th (11:59pm), 2019.
Take a picture & or video of yourself Lindy Hopping. It can be in your living room, at the Saturday Night Swing Dance or on the TTC (as examples), then upload it to Instagram or Facebook with the Hashtag #TLHContest and don’t forget to tag @Torontolindyhop & @queensdc in the post. We will then randomly pick 2 winners from all the photos entered and make the announcement of who won on Jan 5th at Noon.
